EarthTech Environmental has expertise in environmental site assessments and the identification of recognized environmental conditions. Bill Kraemer is a member of the Environmental Assessment Association and is a Certified Environmental Inspector (Certification No. 77391). Bill has participated in assessment work completed at commercial, industrial and mining properties in seven states and four countries.
EarthTech Environmental is familiar with the design of monitoring programs, and the collection and evaluation of environmental data, including sampling protocols and QA/QC procedures. Bill Kraemer is a Certified Environmental Inspector and a Montana Department of Environmental Quality accredited Asbestos Inspector (License No. MTA3024).
EarthTech Environmental has expertise in a variety of air permitting services, including initial applications, modifications, and alterations of pre-construction and Title V operating permits; open burning permits; management of stack testing programs; compliance certifications; emission inventories and reporting. Bill Kraemer has experience with air permitting for industrial and mining facilities in Montana and six other states.
EarthTech Environmental has expertise in a wide variety of water-related permitting services, including initial applications, renewals and modifications of NPDES individual permits; general and construction stormwater permits; 310 and 404 permits; water rights applications and stormwater pollution prevention plans. Bill Kraemer has experience with water-related permitting for industrial and mining facilities in multiple states, and is certified (by the Flathead City-County Board of Health) to design sewage treatment systems in Flathead County, Montana.
EarthTech Environmental is experienced with the preparation of mine permit applications and reclamation plans, and familiar with the overall mine permitting and bonding process. Bill Kraemer is familiar with open pit and underground mining, and has worked with mining permits at multiple sites in Montana and California.
EarthTech Environmental offers experienced, professional services for managing hazardous materials, including hazardous wastes generated by large quantity, small quantity and conditionally-exempt small quantity generators. Bill Kraemer is an OSHA 1910.120 trained Hazardous Materials Technician with HazMat team experience and has worked with hazardous waste management in multiple states. Bill has also prepared numerous SPCC plans for the storage and use of petroleum products.
EarthTech Environmental has expertise in all phases of site closure activities, including planning, permitting, heavy construction/demolition, contractor management, site cleanup and reclamation, and the design and implementation of monitoring programs. Bill Kraemer has participated in the closure and rehabilitation of numerous mining, exploration and industrial properties.
EarthTech Environmental is experienced with all phases of compliance auditing, including designing audit programs, developing formal audit protocols, conducting audits, and assisting with the development of corrective action plans. Bill Kraemer has participated in numerous audit training courses and workshops, and lead or participated in environmental audits of industrial and mining facilities in four states and three countries.
EarthTech Environmental offers expert services in designing and implementing Environmental Management Systems, including working with an external certification registrar, developing management plans and work procedures, identifying aspects and impacts of activities, developing training media and conducting employee training, assisting with internal audits and corrective action, and developing realistic goals and targets. Bill Kraemer has experience developing and implementing ISO 14001 registered Environmental Management Systems for industrial facilities and mines in four states and three countries.
EarthTech Environmental maintains contacts with a wide array of environmental professionals and is able to arrange specialized services as necessary for projects, such as the services of wetland biologists, professional engineers, licensed water well installers, asbestos abatement contractors, industrial hygienists, etc.
